Mark's Traditional Chili Recipe


     


Ingredients
1 1/2 lb.  -  Ground Beef
1 Med/Lrg  -  Onion
3 TBSP.  -  Chili Powder
1 tsp.  -  Salt
1/2 tsp.  -  Pepper
1 can  -  Chili Beans
1 can  -  Light Red Kidney Beans
3 cans  -  Dark Red Kidney Beans
1 can (28 oz.)  -  Diced Tomatoes
3 cups  -  Water


Directions
Brown beef with onion in skillet. Drain. Put into pot, add chili powder, salt and pepper. Mix well, Add beans, tomatoes and water, Mix well. Bring to a boil over medium/medium high heat, stirring occasionally to more frequently when closer to boiling to keep from sticking. Cover and simmar for 30+ minutes stirring frequently. Turn off, let rest for 2 hours, heat up and serve.
